Dear Journal,
it's been really long since i last blogged.until the 22nd of nov,i was busy studying.From then to now,i was busy playing.i was jus too busy. Now that i have almost all the time in the world,i'm going to update about my prom night & some other things as well.
23/11/05 Wednesday:
The day of our prom.I only bought my suit yesterday & at a real bargain thanks to gordon's aunt working in G2000.Went to town with Sam to buy some stuffs,then went over to his place to change & to style our hair at a saloon nearby his place.Mine was done in 5 mins while his took like an hour but he really looked great.Then his dad fetched us to the club.Upon reaching there,we saw many of our schoolmates dressed up so nicely. Took a few photos before we sat down for the events to start.The 1st few events were kinda boring.Everyone was so engrossed in taking pictures that they were not really interested.Even when eating,hardly anyone sat down quietly to eat.Flashes & smiles everywhere. Sam was in the centre of attraction of all girls with his new hairstyle. Jealous man.Quite a number of people didn't turn up which was very dissapointing. The food was not bad but i only touched half of mine because everyone was like asking me to help them take.So i decided not to eat & jus take some pictures.Then there was the elegent contest.It was quite fun.All the contestants were elegant & competition was heated up especially in guys. But in the end it was Badri & Odel who were crowned as mr & miss elegant.Sam came in 2nd. They had to invite a teacher of opposite sex to dance with them & it was really funny. Then picture taking again. We were all blinded by flashes from our cameras. But unfortunately,by the time we had to go,i still wasn't able to take pictures with quite a number of people.Sad.I hope we'll see each other again some time.It was certainly a memorable & magical evening.If* she turned up,it would have been perfect. Goodbye whitley.....For now.We'll miss being a whitleyan.
After the prom,went to toa payoh tp play pool with sam,pong,pang ngee,minglong,whatt kiang,jia hao,Shenping & others.Quite fun.But i spilled a drink on the pool table & almost had to pay $200 for it.Scary~Then took cab to sam's place to sleepover.Nxt morning,i went to the dentist to remove my bracers after 3 long years.Now i'm wearing retaniers instead.
