Dear Journal,
haven't been blogging for a week...Well, i stayed at home most of the times...if not, i would be going for tuition classes....Today i had my last badminton training as my dad didn't like the idea that i go all the way to kallang for my training which consimed a lot of time...it was only about six months since i've been going there but every training was fun...i'll never forget those memorable days...just not fated with badminton...haix...i'll really miss the coaches & friends there....i'll miss smashing,lifting, drop shots & lobbing...T_T...So sad that i have to let it go again...Today's training was quite slacking except physical...Physical was the worst i ever had...maybe it was a farewell present....run up & down the steps 10 times in 1 min 20 secs....wa liao...run until my legs numb & cannot feel anything man...But i did one thing i wanted to do for months...i finally bought a new pair of badminton shoes!!! =) a gorgeous 1 too....Had been saving for them for months man...110 bucks..not a bad price...i also bought 1 roll of shuttles just in case...had to run for half an hour just to find a bloody POSB...Came back home in my neighbour's car whose daughter trains there too....nice people...now very tired & exhausted but later still must go tuition...sianz...-_-...haven't finish my assingments yet...better go do now...See you people!! before i continue on my details on the hwa chong leadership camp, i shall talk about my day....Slept til 10 then did my tuition homework til 12 and then slept again...then blogged until 4.15 and left for my church lecture....the lecture was BORING...i think i fell asleep....still can't figure out why my mother asked me to attend it....Then on the way back in the bus,met Faith & another hwa chong jc counseller....what coincidence!! Singapore is just too small...haha...jkjk...Then talked wih Faith til she got down first....i'm beginning to miss all the counsellers man....especially the talk cock king chengrong & shi han...Man, Chengrong is one enthusiastic guy & Shi han is such a god dancer lor....She's one of the coolest counseller man...i mean it!!! She is the dancing Queen......i wonder who's her king??? hehehx...=P Oh yeah,Chengrong is a good cook too!!! haha....Oh man...really wish the camp was longer so that i can get to know other counsellers better...sigh~..T_T..Then went to buy some stuffs near by my house and then went home and did my homework again....now i can continue with the 2nd day of the camp
Day 2,17/11/04:
erm....i think i missed out the night walk to chinese high on the first night....Tze pern & Shi Yang told us some creepy stories about chinese high...Then they woke us up at 2 when i was falling asleep...darn...we went to chinese high again but inside....Then we were told to follow the path of the lightsticks and collect some pieces of puzzle....The route was kinda creepy...especially the hall where the badminton nets weren't kept and it was totally silent....i think the rest is not too bad lar....a good night walk...Then when everyone was back at the inner plaza,every group started to work on their clue...We missed a puzzle as i took the clue in it only when we had to take the plastic bag as well...but i was able to figure out the clue as i remember Eunice saying the word "smoking" when we cook which was our clue....i think we were the first to get our marbles...=} Then we slept til 6 and then did some PT by running 1 round around the school....Then we did some relays....i fell down and got my pants muddy....bleah...Next,we worked on our camp fire item...we still sounded bad & out of tune...really got worried that we might screw the whole item up....we got a new cheer for reizakhi which Rachel gave us the idea....After our discussion,we went on to tele matches....First was pbstacle race which we lost...Second was captain's ball which we won!!...Third was Amoeba where we had to be blindfolded and with 3 people in our group giving us directions so that we don't bump into obstacles...Xavier & jonathan carried Fiona and guided us to victory....yeah!! But unfortunately,in the last game of "crippled pirates", we lost by a lot...=[ After the tele matches,we practiced our camp fire songs again & ateour lunch...when i was eating i saw some fmiliar faces.. Peifang!!! Fang jie!! Jing jie also!! o delighted to see them...i miss u guys alot man..Then cheers led by Chengrong & Xinyi...Man those 2 ics are enthusiastic...2 of them sound louder than 5 or 6 of us....They taught us 2 of their cheers & we taught them one of our own...After shouting and screaming to compete the loudness of the cheer,we moved on to mass dancing again...This time,we learned one new dance which was much much harder & confusing compared to uesterday's dances....They really must have practiced alot...but somehow,i got through it...but the dance steps are so cool~ and still can't get over it...so addictive...inner hand,outer hand,inner outer, grab PULL!! haha....Then we dod the auctioning where we used our marbles we had as money to trade for war weapons like water bombs,water guns and mercenaries for the SHOW DOWN...we had the least marbles but got the best items....Alloycious as our mercenary & 100 waterbombs!!! Plus additional 100 water bombs as our basis....Once the auction was over,we went for the show down in the field....We decided to ally with all the other groups to fight against the counsellers... Before the showdown,i spotted yiming & he spotted me too...i could see in his face that he was utterly shocked to see me here...So was i....hah....When the showdown finally started,it started to rain as well...the timing couldn't be better....haha...But as Alloycious couldn't help us,Kleave helped us...I managed to throw quite a number of waterbombs into their bucket until they decided to surround the bycket which was against the rules...Then from then onwards,everyone was going against the rules by stand infront of the bucket,the counsellers crossed each team's barrier and Tze pern even went outside the limited bounds....it was hell itself.. everytime i attacked, about 5 counsellers would try to burst my waterbombs as they found that i was very deceiving...hehehx....some of the female counsellers started scratching like hell....haha...so fierce lorz....hui shan is one wild counseller man....=P But we ended up THRASHING them...haha....REVENGE for torturing us.....=P Then we changed into our dry clothes and went for dinner..Before dinner,my wrist suddenly started urting a lot so i told cheng rong about it and he took me to cherie who bandaged me...thanks cherie & cheng rong!!=]...Miss Foong came over just in time for dinner....Then we greeted her and started serving our GLs first....But some of them asked us to eat first...Before we ate,we did our last makan cheer ....haha...then food was alright...Then after a short discussion for our item,it was the camp fire....It was really wild man....everyone was enthusiastic and enjoying themselves....this was one campfire that i didn't find it boring...haha.....our item went fine, except we screwed up our cheer at first....but everyone loved the "smoking~" i bet Eunice liked it the best...haha....Then we did the friendship dance and the thousand legged worms dance....FUN!!! haha...the worm was running man....then got separated a few times....Then clever anus presented their item...They really very enthu man....especially the guys with their gingerbread dance,teletubbies...LoLx....But what rocked the most was the council dance...SO DAMN COOL~ Shi Han is still the best dancer man!! WhoOOOo!! Coz she's our GL!! =P I bet they practiced for weeks lor...so good coordination & sequence with cool dance steps....envy them man...then we did the mass dancing again...one new dance and 3 that we know already....My slippers gave me a lot of problems during the dance man....after the dance,we went to pack our stuffs and talked with our GLs....The counsellers gave us pens and awarded our group and Niklev with the best groups....WHoOoOo!!Then we cheered for the counsellers and they cheered for us...Poor cheng rong & shi yang...They like no voice already lor...better go take strepsils man....haha...Then we talked before we were going to say goodbye....real sad man...they are soOoOOO nice....especially our GLs,Shi Han & Cheng Rong....Good in almost everything lor...so talented...Chengrong is damn funny lor...haha...after the girls left us,we talked about the girls...haha....can't tell what we talked about la....it's a secret lor....=P Then we stayed and talk cock with some of the counsellers like Faith,Chengrong & Shi Han...Then finally goodbye...Real sad...=[...T_T....But i'm sure i can see them as i pass by this school practically everyday....haha...Then took the same bus homoe with joyce &....erm...sorry...really cant remember who...pai seh...Reached home,unpacked my stuffs,washed my shoes and my bag and blogged before i turned in.....Once again,i would like to thank every single counsellers in hwa chong jc for organizing this camp and teaching us so many valueble lessons that we will benefit from...of course, the happy and joyous time we spent together that is simply priceless and i would do anything to spend time together again...Every minute we spent there was like an hour or a day to us...Too bad it had end so soon...i really appreciate your efforts & time organizing this camp for us even though with a tight studying schedule....This camp was really fun,fruitfull & meaningful...We'll never ever forget it!!! All the very best for the rest of the year as well as in 2005 when you guys sit for you A levels....i believe you guys can do it!! Jia You!! Wo men yong yuan hui zi chi ni de!!! =) You guys really ROCK man!!! I'll really miss you but you guys will definately be in my heart as long as i live!!! i SOMPA!!! [=

as i've said on my last entry, i will say again that i'm finally back!! With sprained wrist though...Still hurts...But the camp was still fun!!!WhoOoOo!! I shall give te details of the camp...If you don't have time, don't read it as it is going to be very VERY long....haha...here it goes...
Day 1, 16/11/04:
Got in school and were divided into 4 groups......only 18 people turned up...kind of disapointing....the members in my group was Xavier,Rachel,Jonathan & Vincent....oh yeah, me too...haha...Then we set off to Hwa chong in a bus....PUBLIC bus....so pathetic...I think we arrived early and therefore given time to eat & look around the school until the counsellers..After a quick tour around the school,we were told to gather back at the canteen...When we gathered infront of the counsellers,i think i could see their faces saying " that's all??" Anyway, each group was assigned with 2 group leaders & given a group name....Our GLs[group leader] were Cheng Rong & Shi Han....Our group name was R.I.E.C.H.E. which was named after a counseller whose name was jumbled up....Innovative eh?? All the groups' name were after names of counsellers which was all jumbled up too...haha....our group name is named after Cherie...Then groups were separated into respective places to discuss our goals, intorduced ourselves to the GLs & decide a cheer.....At first we were kinda shy and did not open our hearts to our GLs....But eventually, they opened our hearts and soon we were interacting more than we did and came out with a funny group cheer which we were gona present infornt of everybody...it was shark thingy that we learnt during this year's annual probationary camp....jus that the lyrics were substututed with our group name....haha....Finally, ater a short brief of the whole camp by the chairperson & vice-chairperson who were Alloycious & Chi peng[ not sure the spelling, sorry if it's wrong] We presented our cheer....we were nervous and cocked up but everyone found it amusing and burst into laughters....After every group presented their goals & cheers, we moved on to our net programme of the day...The Amazing Race which were planned by the Game Ics [Kai Zhi & Jin Yi]...The points systems were by marbles...the more marbles,the better....They kept on saying the marbles were gona be useful in the end of the cmp but none of us were able to figure out what exactly it was...Anyway,we played the station games starting with...erm...erm...oh yeah...vocabulary game where we had to use 2 sets of letters to form as many words as we can with the help of dictionaries in the time limit of 5 mins...if we didn't get 35 points out of 40 points, we had to do a forfeit iin order to move on to the next station....We gave it our best but only got 31 points...Luckily, the forfeit was just to show them our cheer....haha....so we moved on to the.....erm..don't know what's it is called but we had to squeeze together to get up without using our hands....it ws really tough....but by this,we learnt the importance of team work...if we didn't push together or if there was a gap between us,we really couldn't get up....but after series of attempts,we did it in 4 secs...how abou that? (= Then we went on to the platform game were we had to cross the finish line only stepping on the platform with number on it and with other restriction as well...of course, we were given tools to help ourselves....once anyone in the group touched the ground,we had to stat all over again....unfortuanetly,we didn't do to well in this station....then next was "picture perfect" whereas we had to hold on to the string and make a shape with one of us giving direction within the given time...i was the one who navigating them and i was told as them to make a heart shape...sure wasn't easy....but with my group members encouraging me, i did it...erm...i mean WE did it...we even broke the record...Yeah...Then went over to the "spider string" [i think...] where we had to transfer our group memebers through samll holes....i went over the other side first then we started cracking our brains and in moments,we had done it...but we were given a challenge that if we transfered our GLs also, we were given bonus points...And we successfully transfered them over....Then our last station was transfering water boms with plastic bags, tossing them over to pairs and one of our members batting the water bomb after it was transfered from the 1st pair to the 3rd pair...again, we broke the record and headed to the lockers with the combination of numbers we aquired....in the locker was 40 marbles and if any team unlocked the locker,they were awarded with extra 30 marbles....when we went to the locker,ANIHUS was already there but their got the wrong combination and their had to go figure it our again....we tried once but we failed...but when ANIHUS tried for thr 3rd time,they did it....we were a little disapointed but still happy as this game was fun....we were tired & soaked up....but everyone was filled with laughters & happiness...haha...then it was lunch...it was alright..i guess....then Cheng Rong wanted us to merge with IZAKHI for the rest of the activities and the campfire item because that group consisted of sec 1s & 2s only and needed some help....initially, some of us didn't wanted but Zi Jian, one of the counsellers who were IZAKHI's GL, persuaded us to merge...and so we discussed the campfireitme which we chose a song entitled," Stand by me"...The next programme was the game called "Tarzan,Gorilla & Jane" which was like a scissor, paper & stone system where 2 person compete to win the balloon from another....Tarzan beats gorilla,the gorilla beats Jane& Jane beats Tarzan....It was fun but unfortunaely 3 people got hurt and they decided the game to be over with the victory of REIZAKHI[ RIECHE+IZAKHI]...Then went to the street soccer court to play "foosball"...it was the same as table soccer except that it was us who were tied to rope and prevented from moving far away....We were winning at first but CLEVER ANIHUS [NIKLEV + ANIHUS] counter attecked and won us...during the game,i fell down and sprained my wrist...but kept quiet about it......Then went to the concourse to have dance session....at first,we were shy to do the steps but after some inspiration from the counsellers, everyone was dancing and having fun....some of the dance steps were confusing but it was really cool....after that,we did the structure building where we had to build a structure where we can support a pail which we put the marbles in it....but we had jonathan,so no problem at all....he taught us how to tie strings...and eventually came up with a simple but stable structure and won the the most stable structure award....Then,we prepared for the cookout in the inner plaza....Rachel and Shi Han had went to the Coronation Plaza to do some grocery shopping and bought us some nice stuffs..Mashed potatoes,luncheon meat,cabbage & eggs....Then the cookout started...we were real fortunate to have a super cook, Cheng Rong...But everyone helped and the food was delicious...After clearing up,we showered and had a evaluation session with our GLs then turned in at 10.30....
Well,that's it for the 1st day,i have to go out now so i shall continue the camp details in the next entry....chaoZ...nice day people...=}

just back from the Hwa Chong JC leadership camp!! SoOOooO FUN!!! One of my best camps ever attended!!! It is just out of this world man....I wished more of our people went there....The counsellors seemed disapointed about the poor attendence after they worked very hard to plan this camp....but seniors,thanks a lot!! (= We have to admit you guys did a wonderful job!! Jia you for your studies!!Wo yong yuan hui zi chi ni de!!! =] I really can't wait to post what happened throughout the camp but currently, i'm just too tired to do so...So i'll do it tomorrow!! You must read arh!! =P Must remember to tag horz....ChaoZ....NiteZ people!! (=

these 2 days have been BORING~....i really mean it...i was not to step out of my house if i were to go for the hwa chong leasdership camp tomorrow....SianZ....-_- Yesterday,something very unusual & funny happened....A monkey sneaked in by the kitchen window, took the cornflake cereal, ate the potatoes & ran off...haha...i was really shocked manz...luckily it didn't mess up the kitchen...we learnt a lesson that we should always close the window if necessary...Today, Simon came over my place to give me the first lesson....Ok la...such a weirdo....Hope he can help me improve my grades...Tomorrow , i am going for the hwa chong leadership camp til wednesday....So don't me miss me!! =P Take care people & enjoy your holidays!! haven't been blogging for a couple of days.... Blogger is always giving me a headache....maybe i should change it....So many things happened during these days....

10th Nov 04:
Woke up early and went for the com meeting.....Started the meeting with 8 people...Great attendence...We discussed about what we're going to plan for this coming farewell night 04'...After we were done with the programmes,we went to plan the location for the station games....Can't reveal the locations yet...haha...=P Was kind of tiring travelling around...After we were done with the planning, me,daniel,Suling,Geraldine & meiping shopped around Causeway Point....First time i have been there man and it was great... so many shops...Saw a lot of cool stuffs i want to buy....Now i think about it,staying in woodlands is not that bad....so many bug shopping centres nearby....Bought a present for celestine...Damn Exprensive man...But shared the cost with daniel & li ying....Then went to looked for the girls who were own their own...Was kind of hard to look for them as they kept changing their destination....In the end, everyone ended uo in the arcade...haha...Had a great time there... Man,those girls were wild...Spent a lot of money...=[ Better start saving them if i want to buy my stuffs...Then we left for celestine's house and met , muiting, xinyi & sherene at toa payoh mrt.... Upon reachin her house, they started playing mahjong while i tried to learn but the more i saw them play,the more confused i got...haha..=X I cannot make it la....I just played dai dee with the rest until we went down to eat....They were still trying to start the fire when we got down, so we played blackjack....Of course the cards were mine..haha...But we only played for a while and 20 minutes later,i found almost everyone soaking wet except me...they were pushing each other into the pool...Of course i just didn't sit down and shake leg la....go and push some of them also...Fun man...But the guards chased them away....i hate condo guards man...they're such a bunch of party poopers...Then went up to celestine's house to watch TV...Then sang her a b'day song and left....Meiping's father fetched us to the bustop in the lorry...Cool...first time sit in a lorry...But when i reached home at 11.45, my mum scolded me for coming back so late...haix...=[...So i did my tuition homework and then turned in..By the way,befor i forget, Happy belated b'day to Emmeline!!! Sorry for the late wishing...Just slipped off my mind...shall give ya your present when school reopened as promised...hahaz....
11th Nov 04':
Woke up at 8,ate then went to practice some golf with my mum....We went early becuase golf balls were cheaper in the morning but we completely forgot today was deepavali...shucks...oh well...Practiced for an hour then went back home...Watched tv for a while then went for my badminton training which they postponed to today because sunday was hari raya...A lot of people in little india man...so damn crowded....Training was ok today...not too tiring and not too slacking...but i stayed longer and played some singles & doubles matches...Didn't win any though..haha...Then went back home and had dinner with my mum....Then went to take a nap...Take until next day 2 am man....Just did my homework....oh yeah...Happy deepavali everyone!! Dear Journal,
went to school for extra lessons. First lesson was a maths. so many of us squeezed into the small ava room but it was so quiet. Guess Mr Chen is really very fierce. But he's kind of funny & lame as well. The atmosphere of the room reminded me of lecture halls my brother always told me about. geez...Cool~ Then after that,was physics and it was a old teacher who never taught us before. BORING~ Just practically slept through the whole lesson. Went for recess then went for english. Fun!! Madam Azzizah funny sia. Learned about the IPA[international phonetic....forgot liaoz...] haha...Then played blackjack & bluff in the prefects room. Lost 4 bucks to Mark. Shucks, no luck today. =[ Then went macs and ate then went home. It was pouring like it had never rained before. My mum decided to fetch me from near by our house as she got worried. Good ol' mum!! =) Very tired & my toe still hurts!! Ouch!! Going to watch tv lerz...ChaoZ....(=
